Men’s Antique Samurai Haori – Black Habutae Silk with Takeda Clan Motif

🔥 Limited-Time Offer: $245.19 Now $219.00

This rare and authentic antique Japanese haori was traditionally worn by high-ranking samurai. Tailored from 100% black Habutae silk, it is light, breathable, and ideal for both display and traditional wear. The upper back features the elegant Mokkou Montsuki family crest — a symbol historically associated with powerful warlords, including the legendary Takeda clan during Japan’s Sengoku era.

🖼️ Inner Artwork – A Samurai’s Advance

The inner lining is hand-printed with a dramatic scene inspired by the Warring States period (Sengoku Jidai). It shows two samurai clad in full ō-yoroi armor, galloping on horseback through a landscape of twisted matsu pines. Arrows pierce the ground as one warrior draws a yumi (longbow), poised for battle. Their dynamic posture and forward motion suggest a charge into combat — likely referencing the cavalry of Takeda Shingen, one of feudal Japan’s most revered generals. The beige silk lining contrasts beautifully with the black outer shell, blending elegance and warrior spirit.
