Clear information about carriers, delivery timeframes, tracking, and customs for international orders.

At BujindoShop, we are committed to providing efficient, secure, and reliable international shipping. All orders are carefully prepared to ensure safe delivery worldwide. Our primary shipping partner is DHL Express, selected for its speed, tracking reliability, and secure handling. In specific circumstances, we reserve the right to use EMS (Japan Post) as an alternative carrier.

Shipping Carriers & Delivery Times

Primary Carrier – DHL Express

Most international orders are shipped via DHL Express for fast and secure worldwide delivery.

Alternative Carrier – EMS (Japan Post)

In certain cases (including product size limitations, destination restrictions, remote areas, or temporary exceptional DHL surcharges), BujindoShop reserves the right to ship via EMS without prior notice. EMS provides reliable international tracking and delivery.

Processing Time

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and Japanese public holidays).

Estimated Delivery Time After Dispatch

  • France, European Union & United States:
    3–5 business days (DHL Express) / approximately 5–10 business days (EMS)
  • Other International Destinations:
    3–7 business days (DHL Express) / approximately 7–14 business days (EMS), depending on destination and customs processing.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, local postal handling, remote delivery zones, or unforeseen international transport conditions.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and package dimensions.

  • A minimum international shipping fee of ¥3,500 applies to most destinations.
  • Shipping costs remain calculated according to weight and destination, regardless of whether DHL or EMS is used.
  • Remote areas may be subject to additional carrier surcharges beyond our control.

Customs Duties, Import Taxes & Regulations

  • International shipments may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or clearance fees imposed by the destination country.
  • The customer is considered the importer of record and is responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations.
  • All customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or additional charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • BujindoShop has no control over customs processes and cannot predict the amount of such charges.

We strongly recommend contacting your local customs authority before placing your order to understand potential import costs.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number.

  • DHL shipments can be tracked via the DHL Express official website.
  • EMS shipments can be tracked via the Japan Post tracking system.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and responding promptly to any customs or delivery notifications.

Undeliverable, Refused, or Unclaimed Packages

  • If a package is returned due to incorrect address information, refusal of delivery, failure to pay customs duties, or failure to collect the shipment, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping, storage, and re-shipping costs.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable in such cases.
  • If a returned package is abandoned or destroyed by customs due to non-compliance or refusal, no refund will be issued.

Force Majeure & Carrier Delays

BujindoShop shall not be held liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to customs inspections, carrier disruptions, natural disasters, governmental actions, international transport restrictions, or force majeure events.
