This antique formal men’s kimono (Montsuki) is crafted from luxurious black habutae silk and adorned with 5 white Ume (plum blossom) family crests. Fully lined in indigo-dyed cotton, this piece is ideal for martial arts demonstrations, tea ceremonies, or formal events.
The five crests follow the traditional Montsuki placement: one on the back, one on each sleeve, and two on the chest. This kimono is the Japanese equivalent of a black-tie suit — elegant, ceremonial, and timeless.

I ordered this product as a replacement for a cheap Chinese samue that lasted roughly 3 weeks. This one is on another level. I am 182 cm and 83 kg and the 2L fits me nicely. Although based on the leg length a L would have also worked. The cloth has a nice thickness and texture to it. International shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend...it would also be really nice if this shop would have an European reseller, preferably in Germany ;)
