Transparent conditions for returns, product assessment, and refund processing.
14-Day Refund Eligibility
Customers may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the confirmed delivery date.
To qualify for a refund, the product must remain in strictly identical condition as received:
- Unworn, unused, unwashed, and unaltered
- Free from damage, strain, or modification
- Returned with original packaging and all tags attached
Proof of purchase is mandatory for all refund requests.
Important Notice: Items showing signs of wear, excessive tension, fabric strain, seam separation, stretching, improper fastening, forceful pulling, or any damage occurring after delivery are not eligible for refund.
How to Request a Refund
All garments including samue, haori, tabi, and martial arts apparel are inspected before dispatch from Kyoto, Japan.
To request a refund, please contact us at Bujindoshop@gmail.com. A written authorization is required before returning any item.
Items returned without prior approval will be refused and sent back at the sender’s expense.

Defects & Technical Review
Any manufacturing defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photographic evidence taken before the item is worn or used.
The following are not considered manufacturing defects:
- Excessive or uneven force applied to seams, closures, or drawstrings
- Stress concentrated at a single tension point
- Improper fastening or adjustment
- Damage during first wear caused by handling or force
- Stretching or tearing occurring after delivery
All claims are subject to internal technical evaluation. Additional photographic or video documentation may be requested.
Non-Refundable Items
- Antique and clearance products
- Customized or personalized items
- Handmade or made-to-order products
- Items showing signs of wear, washing, alteration, or post-delivery damage
- Sale items and gift cards
- Hazardous materials or restricted goods
Refund eligibility is strictly conditional upon product condition verification after inspection.
Refund Processing
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
In the event of a payment dispute, chargeback, or claim, all relevant documentation including inspection reports, tracking confirmation, correspondence records, and submitted evidence may be provided to the payment processor for formal review.
Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in refusal of future transactions.
