This antique Japanese haori for men is a timeless piece of elegance, meticulously crafted from premium black habutae silk. Known for its smooth, luxurious texture, this high-quality silk makes the haori a symbol of refinement.
Inside, the lining reveals a breathtaking golden silk illustration of the Kyomizudera Temple in Kyoto. This haori is a Montsuki, a formal jacket featuring five family crests (Kamon 家紋). The emblem displayed is Maruni Kikyo (丸に桔梗), the iconic crest of the Akechi Mitsuhide clan, a powerful daimyo of the Sengoku era.

I ordered this product as a replacement for a cheap Chinese samue that lasted roughly 3 weeks. This one is on another level. I am 182 cm and 83 kg and the 2L fits me nicely. Although based on the leg length a L would have also worked. The cloth has a nice thickness and texture to it. International shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend...it would also be really nice if this shop would have an European reseller, preferably in Germany ;)
