A Rare Japanese DVD from Daikomyosai 2005
This DVD contains footage from the Daikomyosai 2005, held at the Tokyo Budokan on November 29, November 30 and December 1, 2005. During this three-day seminar, Masaaki Hatsumi Soke gave detailed instruction on the teachings and feeling of Gyokko Ryu, with a focus on the classical structure of Ten Chi Jin.
For serious students of Ninjutsu and Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, this DVD is especially important because Gyokko Ryu is one of the core martial traditions associated with body movement, distance, angling, balance breaking, kosshijutsu principles and refined taijutsu. The theme of Ten Chi Jin — Heaven, Earth and Man — also gives this DVD strong value for practitioners seeking a deeper understanding of martial structure, natural movement and transmission.
Strongly Recommended by the Ninjutsu Kyoto Instructor
The acquisition of this DVD is strongly recommended, and can be considered essential, by the Ninjutsu instructor in Kyoto and founder of BujindoShop.com. He personally participated in the Daikomyosai 2005 seminar recorded in this DVD, making this item not only a rare Japanese martial arts video, but also a meaningful reference connected to direct experience of the event.
For students who wish to understand the feeling of Gyokko Ryu, the depth of Ten Chi Jin, and the transmission of movement taught by Masaaki Hatsumi, this DVD is considered a highly valuable study companion. It is particularly recommended for serious practitioners of Ninjutsu, instructors, collectors and researchers of Japanese budo.
You can follow the instructor’s Ninjutsu practice, teachings and demonstrations on the official YouTube channel: Ninjutsu Kyoto YouTube Channel.
Why This DVD Is Important for Ninjutsu Study
Gyokko Ryu is often considered one of the essential schools for understanding the foundations of Bujinkan martial movement. Through this DVD, practitioners can study posture, kamae, rhythm, timing, distancing, natural body mechanics and the transmission of principles through direct demonstration.
The concept of Ten Chi Jin represents a profound framework in martial arts study. It can be understood as the relationship between Heaven, Earth and Man, but also as a practical method for organizing movement, structure, distance, timing and strategy. This makes the DVD particularly useful for practitioners who wish to study beyond simple technique and approach Ninjutsu as a complete martial path.

My haori arrived in a timely manner and was everything I expected it to be and more. The quality of the haori is fantastic, and it fits great!
This pair of shoes is really very comfortable, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It's exactly what I expected. The only problem is that I ordered a pair half a centimeter larger than my usual size, and even so, they're so tight that I can't even wear socks (tabis)!
I loved them, very beautiful and perfect fit if you follow the measure instructions. Looking forward for some outdoors bujinkan training in the spirng!
I wish they would come in 12 version as well
Thank you very much
Just like described, fast shipment. Nothing to complain about :)
The Samue suit is very beautiful crafted - the fabric is soft and very pleasant to wear. A high quality clothing that exudes a genuine Japanese feeling attention to detail. . The tabi shoes clearly high quality. I am very happy.
Super cozy!
out est parfait. Merci
heads raised to the heavens, i am not worthy of the energy without thy consent.
Comfortable and visually stunning
Just the right size.
As this belt was a replacement for my original black belt from 2003, I am very pleased to say that it has the same feel and quality of my previous belt. I teach karate 5 days a week, so I need a belt that stands the test of time. I am positive that this is it!
Confortable et parfsit pour ma taille de pied. C’est super a porter a l’interieur :)
An amazing Gi. More like a samurai robe. Where the tk-10 is stone this is water, not flimsy but heavy but flows like a powerful river. Amazing quality.
I ordered this product as a replacement for a cheap Chinese samue that lasted roughly 3 weeks. This one is on another level. I am 182 cm and 83 kg and the 2L fits me nicely. Although based on the leg length a L would have also worked. The cloth has a nice thickness and texture to it. International shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend...it would also be really nice if this shop would have an European reseller, preferably in Germany ;)
A beautiful, high-quality product — it's a pity about the customs charges for Italy.
