🧵 Description
This rare antique Japanese samurai kimono is crafted from luxurious black silk, with a striking midnight-blue silk lining. It proudly bears five family crests (go-mon), featuring the Mokkou (木瓜) mon – a stylized "quince flower" crest, historically linked to the powerful Oda clan and the legendary warlord Oda Nobunaga.
Traditionally worn over a hakama for formal occasions, this kimono is ideal for martial arts demonstrations (Iaido, Kenjutsu, Battojutsu), ceremonies, or historical reenactments. It is delivered without an obi belt, but matching Kaku Obi can be found in our accessory collection.

🌸 The Symbolism of the Mokkou Kamon
The Mokkou (木瓜) mon resembles the cross-section of a gourd or flower, symbolizing fertility, resilience, and spiritual awakening. It became a symbol of the Oda clan during the Sengoku period, worn by Oda Nobunaga himself. Wearing this crest today evokes strength, fearlessness, and unwavering purpose.

Comfortable and visually stunning
Just the right size.
As this belt was a replacement for my original black belt from 2003, I am very pleased to say that it has the same feel and quality of my previous belt. I teach karate 5 days a week, so I need a belt that stands the test of time. I am positive that this is it!
Confortable et parfsit pour ma taille de pied. C’est super a porter a l’interieur :)
An amazing Gi. More like a samurai robe. Where the tk-10 is stone this is water, not flimsy but heavy but flows like a powerful river. Amazing quality.
I ordered this product as a replacement for a cheap Chinese samue that lasted roughly 3 weeks. This one is on another level. I am 182 cm and 83 kg and the 2L fits me nicely. Although based on the leg length a L would have also worked. The cloth has a nice thickness and texture to it. International shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend...it would also be really nice if this shop would have an European reseller, preferably in Germany ;)
A beautiful, high-quality product — it's a pity about the customs charges for Italy.
I ordered a new Shureido belt on a Thursday and it arrived in Australia the following Monday. That is fantastic service and I would be happy to purchase from the Bujindo store again.
Very very happy. Super quality and productsp
Easy communication, fast delivery and top notch quality of material. I can't be happier. Thank you so much
