Overview:
The Air Jog V White is a lightweight and flexible jikatabi shoe designed for traditional Japanese ceremonial walking. With its white cotton canvas upper and distinctive anti-slip orange rubber sole, this model is not recommended for martial arts such as Ninjutsu. Instead, it is widely worn in Japan by Yamabushi monks, Shugendō practitioners, and festival performers during religious pilgrimages and cultural celebrations.
Note: For martial arts practice, we recommend the Air Jog V Black version (available in our shop).

Worn by Yamabushi Monks and Festival Performers
This white jikatabi is traditionally worn by Yamabushi monks during sacred mountain pilgrimages between Yoshino and Kumano (UNESCO World Heritage). It is also favored during events such as the Gion Matsuri in Kyoto and Awa Odori in Tokushima, where artists and musicians walk for hours.

How to Choose Your Size
- Measure your foot from heel to toe while standing.
- Add 0.5 cm for comfort and sock thickness.
- Select the closest JP size (e.g. foot length 25.5 cm → JP size 26.0).
- If you have wide feet or wear thick socks, size up by 0.5 cm.

An amazing Gi. More like a samurai robe. Where the tk-10 is stone this is water, not flimsy but heavy but flows like a powerful river. Amazing quality.
I ordered this product as a replacement for a cheap Chinese samue that lasted roughly 3 weeks. This one is on another level. I am 182 cm and 83 kg and the 2L fits me nicely. Although based on the leg length a L would have also worked. The cloth has a nice thickness and texture to it. International shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend...it would also be really nice if this shop would have an European reseller, preferably in Germany ;)
