A Rare Japanese DVD from Daikomyosai 2000
This DVD contains footage from the Daikomyosai 2000, the annual Bujinkan seminar held for three days at the Tokyo Budokan. The main theme of this seminar was Koppō, with teachings focused on the power of zero, structural movement, timing, natural body mechanics and the deeper feeling of martial transmission.
For serious students of Ninjutsu and Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, this DVD is especially important because Koppō is directly connected to the understanding of body structure, distance, skeletal alignment, striking principles and the ability to dissolve force through natural movement. It is not simply a technical subject, but a profound martial concept related to how the body, space and intention are used in real movement.
Why This DVD Is Important for Ninjutsu Study
Koppō is an essential subject for practitioners who want to understand the inner mechanics of Bujinkan martial movement. Through this DVD, students can observe posture, kamae, rhythm, timing, distancing, natural body movement and the transmission of principles through direct demonstration by Masaaki Hatsumi.
The study of Koppō helps practitioners move beyond surface-level technique. It teaches how to use the body as a complete structure, how to affect the opponent’s balance, how to enter safely, how to use space, and how to generate martial effectiveness without relying on muscular strength alone. This makes the DVD particularly valuable for those who wish to approach Ninjutsu as a complete martial path rather than a collection of isolated techniques.
Strongly Recommended by the Ninjutsu Kyoto Instructor
The acquisition of this DVD is strongly recommended, and may be considered an essential study reference, by the Ninjutsu instructor in Kyoto and founder of BujindoShop.com. For students who want to deepen their understanding of Koppō, Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, Ninjutsu body mechanics and the teachings of Masaaki Hatsumi, this DVD is a rare and meaningful Japanese martial arts resource.

My haori arrived in a timely manner and was everything I expected it to be and more. The quality of the haori is fantastic, and it fits great!
This pair of shoes is really very comfortable, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It's exactly what I expected. The only problem is that I ordered a pair half a centimeter larger than my usual size, and even so, they're so tight that I can't even wear socks (tabis)!
I loved them, very beautiful and perfect fit if you follow the measure instructions. Looking forward for some outdoors bujinkan training in the spirng!
I wish they would come in 12 version as well
Thank you very much
Just like described, fast shipment. Nothing to complain about :)
The Samue suit is very beautiful crafted - the fabric is soft and very pleasant to wear. A high quality clothing that exudes a genuine Japanese feeling attention to detail. . The tabi shoes clearly high quality. I am very happy.
Super cozy!
out est parfait. Merci
heads raised to the heavens, i am not worthy of the energy without thy consent.
Comfortable and visually stunning
Just the right size.
As this belt was a replacement for my original black belt from 2003, I am very pleased to say that it has the same feel and quality of my previous belt. I teach karate 5 days a week, so I need a belt that stands the test of time. I am positive that this is it!
Confortable et parfsit pour ma taille de pied. C’est super a porter a l’interieur :)
An amazing Gi. More like a samurai robe. Where the tk-10 is stone this is water, not flimsy but heavy but flows like a powerful river. Amazing quality.
I ordered this product as a replacement for a cheap Chinese samue that lasted roughly 3 weeks. This one is on another level. I am 182 cm and 83 kg and the 2L fits me nicely. Although based on the leg length a L would have also worked. The cloth has a nice thickness and texture to it. International shipping was fast. Would definitely recommend...it would also be really nice if this shop would have an European reseller, preferably in Germany ;)
A beautiful, high-quality product — it's a pity about the customs charges for Italy.
